Willoughby Stables
Facility
Willoughby Stables is a private full service "A" show Hunter/Jumper boarding facility settled on 50+ acres in Monroe, North Carolina.
We are equipped with 10 12x12 stall's that include automatic fly spray system, overhead fans, and swing out hay and grain feeder. We also have a beautifully designed private boarder tack room and lounge, one large indoor heated wash bay and two tack areas, one with a large sliding door for vetting and blacksmith access.
We have all-weather outdoor jumping arena equipped with a hunter course and in-ground irrigation system that maintains consistent footing. We teach lessons and train in show hunters and jumpers.
We offer individual turnout in our 10 acre+ three-rail wood fenced pastures. We maintain our green pastures year round, by spraying for weeds, fertalizing, and seeding. We feed Tribute feed and on demand Timothy hay.
The tack room is equipped with a cooling and heating system for all weather conditions. There is plenty of room for show trunks and equipment. A kitchen is provided for all our boarders.We also have a washer and dryer for all horse laundering needs.
Boarding
Willoughby offers three different boarding options. We have standard care board which includes stall, individual turn out, access to trails, arena and field, feed and hay as needed, blanketing, flyspray, and spacious room and a tack trunk in the tack room.
Full care board is everything that is included in standard board plus the following. Daily grooming, tacking and untacking, horse laundry services,
all horse care supplies, hand walking during inclement weather, wrapping, icing, or poulticing after workouts and care prescribed by the vet or farrier, any other special individualized needs.
Training board is everything included in full care along with an individualized riding and training program specialized to horse and rider needs.
